Progress...

Here's the scarf I'm working on for Ma's birthday gift. It's supposed to be done by saturday eeeeek! The pattern is from Alterknits, but I had to sub yarn because the suggested yarn is too expensive. It suggests using two strands of yarn I can't afford held together, but I just subbed worsted weight Paton's Classic Merino in Aran. I didn't realize I was supposed to have two yarns held together until after I bought the yarn ... so, I'm just going with it. It looks nice so far, I think the lighter weight really shows-off the pattern. I dig it. I want one. Heh.
