Gimme Some Candy!

So, yesterday I cast-on
Candy from Knitty. I actually even knit a GAUGE SWATCH too! This is my #1 sweater for the knittinghelp.com Year of the Sweater KAL. The pattern starts with the waistband (yeah, it has a waistband!). The colors I got from elann don't look the way I thought they would, but I'm pretty happy with how it is knitting-up. I think it's going to be lovely. Very girlie.
The damnable scarf is almost done. Before I started it I thought I wanted one for myself, but if I look at this pattern ever again flames will shoot out my eyeballs. (The scarf is lovely, the pattern is easy, I'm just soooooooo sick of looking at it!)
