DH's stooopid socks

So DH wants socks. Black ones. Other than that he doesn't care. So he's getting plain ol' black socks. They are so boooooorrring to knit. I actually had started another pair, with a zillion teeny tiny cables, turned the heel and decided I didn't like them. Frogged the whole damn thing after three weeks of teeny tiny cable knitting. Oh well.
